Character Description
Despite her cute looks, Mitsuri Kanroji is quite the powerful swordswoman. A Love Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps, she possesses monstrous strength since her muscles have eight times the density of an average human body. She also possesses extreme flexibility and agility. In the Swordsmith Village Arc, she used her abilities to subdue a group of demons created by Upper Rank Five, Gyokko, and later played a big role in the battle against Hantengu, where she was able to stall him until dawn.
Although she can sometimes appear to be a bit emotional, she is a kind person who compliments others in her head and is very caring of those around her, including Obanai Shinazugawa. She has a strong commitment to the cause of the Demon Slayers and will fight no matter what. Her demeanor can be somewhat childlike at times, like when she enthusiastically grabs her friends for a hug after her victory against both Hantengu and Gyokko.

Known as the Love Hashira, Mitsuri has captivated Demon Slayer fans with her unique appearance and pleasant personality. Talented cosplayer Effie Marie captured the character perfectly with her amazing take on Mitsuri’s dual-colored, nearly humanly thick hair and flexible whip sword.
Despite her small frame, Mitsuri has monstrous strength as her muscle fibers are 8 times denser than the average person. This power is paired with her incredible skill with a sword, making her one of the top swordswomen in the Demon Slayer Corps.
She is also gifted with incredible stamina and endurance as she was able to withstand the attacks of the powerful Upper Rank demon Hantengu’s clone, Zohakuten, until sunrise. She is a strong and confident woman, but she is also kind and protective of her friends, willing to do anything to keep them safe. The strange slayer is sure to make her enemies cry as she plows through them with her powerful and precise swordsmanship.

Mitsuri’s unique muscle constitution allows her to wield her Love Sword which is a type of Nichirin whip. This weapon is extremely thin and soft like a whip but possesses the strength, suppleness and mobility of a katana. It is a weapon that she created herself and only she can use it.
She also possesses immense stamina and endurance due to years of harsh training. During her battle against the Upper Rank Four, Hantengu, Mitsuri was able to stall them for the win despite suffering severe injuries on her body and fatigue.
Due to her unusual strength and her odd hair color, Mitsuri grew up being considered strange. She always tried to act weak and hide her true personality so that she would be considered a normal girl. However, her kind and wise leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, encouraged her to reject normal societal standards and embrace herself. As a result, Mitsuri became one of the most powerful Pillars in the Demon Slayer Corps.
